Growing up, my claim to fame was always “I am the most unathletic person you will ever meet.” I was the last person chosen for team sports, and I wasn’t actually chosen, I was just last, so they ended up with me. In 2004, I signed up to do an Olympic Distance Triathlon for Team In Training to support my two-year-old nephew who was diagnosed with Leukemia. This started my mantra: If I can do it, you can do it. I began working with a trainer in 2004 and loved it. In 2007, I was laid off, and knew that it was now or never, so I studied and received my Personal Trainer certification. I had a brief hiatus when I returned to school, recovered from back pain and had surgery. After that, it was a long process, but I put myself back together. I am now in the best shape of my life and loving it!
It’s important to be able to share where I have come from, so clients know I have a real fat to fit story and, with my experience, I can coach them to become the best they can be, no matter what their age or fitness level.

Amanda was born and raised here on the Space Coast. As a teenager, a battle with her weight kickstarted her fitness journey early. Instantly, she fell in love with the social aspects of Group Exercise and dreamed of one day leading a class of her own. Having tried tons of different class formats over the last 14 years, it wasn’t until taking a Jeannie Fit class, that she found her perfect fit! It had the intensity, moves, and fun she was looking for. As well as a unique intentionality through their Focus Point Method, that made this workout about more than moving to a beat, but doing it with a purpose! Fast forward 2 years and Amanda now is JF Hip Hop Certified Instructor. Her love for dance dates back to her years in a studio learning Jazz and Hip Hop as a little girl! Amanda believes that working out should be a chance to forget about the stresses of your day, and about finding yourself stronger and more aware of the enormous things you’re capable of.
